Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
The short version: no account, no cookies, no tracking. Your stats live on your own device. The only thing we count is anonymous votes, like "how many people accused cell 3 first today".
Stored on your device
Fakle saves the following in your browser's local storage, so you can pick up where you left off. It never leaves your device unless you share it yourself:
- your games, results, streak and statistics;
- your settings (light mode, high contrast, sound, share style);
- the first name you type when you challenge a friend, and results from challenge links you open;
- your medals, paroles and best Interrogation score. Party mode names are kept in memory only and vanish when you close the page.
To erase all of it, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Sent to our server
When you finish a game, your browser sends us three numbers: the puzzle number, the cell you accused first, and how many tries you needed. We add them to running totals to show things like "31% got him on the 1st try". We don't store your IP address or any identifier with them, and there's no way to link a vote back to you.
Your browser also asks our server for the day's puzzle and those totals. No personal data is involved.
Creator links
If you arrive through a creator's link (like fakle.app/?via=name), your browser tells us once that one more player came from that creator. We only keep a running total per creator and per day, with no IP address or identifier attached.
Challenge links
A challenge link contains the puzzle number, your result and the first name you chose. It goes only to the people you send it to. We don't keep a copy.
Hosting
Fakle is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. Our fonts are hosted by us, so no request goes to Google or any other third party.
Ads
Fakle shows no ads at the moment. If that changes, this page will be updated first. In regions that require it, you'll be asked for your consent before any ad cookies are used.
Your rights
Because we don't hold personal data about you on our servers, there's nothing for us to hand over or delete. Everything personal is on your own device, under your control. If you have a question, contact us at the address below.
